iD-artists was formed in 2012 with the underpinning idea of framing the sensory, tactile and emotional qualities of artworks through the process of exhibition and dialogue. The underlying concept within the work of iD-artists revolves around a common concern with the depiction of various spaces and an exploration of skilled art practice born of sensory perception and practical engagement. iD-artists aim to create a domain of exchanges between printmaking, art-textile, ceramics, mosaic and painting in order to develop new contexts for these disciplines and extend existing visual vocabularies.
